2 RAID Cable Kit

5. Remove existing chassis rear panel connector(s) if necessary. Save mount-

ing screws, these will be used later in Step 7.

6. Connect Drive Channel Cable (for channel 0) to the appropriate drives and to

Drive Channel 0 on the RAID controller. Connect Drive Channel Cable (for

channel 1) to the appropriate drives and to Drive Channel 1 on the RAID

controller (see figure below).

7. Attach the VHDCI adapter plate to the Data Silo rear panel with the same two

(2) screws from Step 5 and connect the cable to the host channel on the RAID

controller.

8. Reinstall the Data Silo covers and any cables removed earlier.
